I was sitting in this very boring class one day and my mind drifted away. I remembered a friend who said her parents were looking for marriage alliances for her (Okay, I have many friends whose parents are on the lookout but for some reason my mind just drifted to her). Then I remembered this guy who I had imagined to be the best match for her a long time ago. I had this sudden impulse to send her a mail suggesting that guy to her. Ofcourse I did not act on the impulse but could not help imagining what could have possibly happened if I had.
All this coz I was bored in class:
I somehow fish out a couple of details about the guy and send her a mail with these details. Getting details online is not difficult. I could easily find the facebook or some-other-social-network profile. Similarly I send the girl's profile to the guy.
Both like each others' profile and tell their parents. Parents hit it off too and the wedding happens.
They have a cute kid and one day the kid very eagerly asks me "Aunty, Mom and Dad tell me it was you who brought them together. How did that happen?" and I sheepishly tell the kid "O sweetheart! You were born because I was bored one day!"
So I guess its best I listen in class!!!
